WHO IS AWESOME FRANKS?

Awesome Franks is a neighbourhood café and venue tucked beside West Jesmond Metro station, serving bold flavours, local coffee and colourful atmosphere. Since opening, we’ve even been highlighted by local press as “a vibrant new addition to the West Jesmond community,” which is exactly what we aim to be, a place where good food, friendly faces and everyday moments come together.

We’re open throughout the week for coffees, bakes and ‘ British caf’ classics and easygoing daytime vibes, with late-night service on Wednesday (New York Pizza) and early evenings Fridays and Saturdays for anyone wanting bar snacks, a drink, or a cosy evening in our colourful space. And there is our iconic pie and mash social on Sunday's where we serve up the finest GNP pies.
